Having Productive Conversations

We see others though our own ideas about them and we listen to them through those filters, this gets in the way of deeply listening to them.

When we stop listening it's difficult to collaborate.

We can know we have stopped listening by the tone of the conversation. Our feelings of disconnection are an invitation to disingage from our thinking and be with the other person.
