What helps us stay in action when we find ourselves in overwhelm?

Overwhelm is human - it’s inevitable we will have ups and downs in our energy and motivation. Rather than grind to a halt when we’re overwhelmed we can be easier on ourselves. When we consider overwhelm as a helpful indicator of the state of our thinking, rather than a problem with ourself as a person, we can take overwhelm less seriously. We can recover more quickly if we trust our capacity to move through overwhelm and have the wisdom to know how best to care for ourselves.
